Senior Engine Programmer

People Can Fly is looking for a Senior Engine Programmer. This person will be working on a AAA shooter and a new IP across multiple platforms. We’re looking for a very experienced engine programmer who will help enhance and maintain PCF Framework (built on Unreal Engine 4), as well as optimize the game for multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong C++ knowledge

• Minimum 7 years of software engineering experience

• Experience with Unreal Engine 4

• Excellent math and/or physics skills

• Passion for writing solid, reliable, efficient code and highly scalable systems

• Experience with multiple core systems, such as graphics, tools, audio, networking, memory handling, scripting, etc.

• Strong work ethic and self-motivated

• Demonstrated interest in games

Preference to applicants with

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience working with multithreaded systems

• Performance and memory optimization skills

• Console experience, especially next-generation systems

• BS (or higher) in Computer Science or similar discipline (Physics, Math, EE, etc.)

• Shipped-title experience

Language

• English and/or Polish language skills (everyone in our studio speaks English, but Polish language skills are a plus)
