Art Lead

Our Client is a Shanghai based studio set up in 2014; over the last few years they’ve been focusing on VR/AR. Their team is currently working on two larger projects- game and PC/mobile cross platform survival action game and hence they need people with experience and that can hit the ground running.

Right now we are looking for an Art Lead to join their international team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Create concept paintings, models, textures, and other benchmark assets that inspire others.
Visually tackle problems in collaboration with the broader game team, including other artists, and design leads.
Direct multiple art disciplines.
Partner with production to ensure schedules and plans meet business and project needs.
Partner with other disciplines to ensure the team is healthy and strong.

Requirements:

A minimum of 7 years’ experience crafting video game art.
Ability to take initiative to solve problems and you have excellent follow-through.
Experience working with others to develop a unique and cohesive visual style.
A desire to work closely with game design to ensure the game’s art improves the player experience.

Salary range: USD 90k-110k
