Lead Server Architect

Kalamba Games is the next generation games company, specialising in content for the gambling and ESports industries and is led by international industry veterans with profound experience and a solid vision and strategy.

We are looking for a talented and inventive Lead Server Architect, who want to join an ambitious, international gaming company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Architecting our game server framework, in conjunction with the COO and external partners
• Ensuring that our game server is compatible with relevant regulations
• Overseeing QA requirements and standards to ensure that our game server meets the highest quality standards
• Designing the server side of our industry-leading promotional tools
• Development of new games with a fast-paced and eager new team
• Working with distribution partners to integrate our games and expand the company
• Training and leading junior members of server development team

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in development on systems where security and reliability are major concerns
• Experience leading teams
• Knowledge of SQL, database management and basic optimization
• Disciplined approach to automated testing to ensure high quality of code that is developed and maintained over a long time frame
• Attitude to continue learning and sharing knowledge and experience with team members
• Highly familiar with at least one enterprise development environment (C#/, Net, Java EE, PHP, Python or NodeJS)
• Good english – both written and spoken

Not necessary but good to have:

• You have ideally worked in a senior role leading or guiding other developers, and have ideally worked with external partners in delivering projects
• Experience designing and developing systems with a microservices architecture
• Experience in iGaming in regulated markets
