QA Specialist

An Amsterdam-based games company seeks a QA specialist to join their team.

The QA Specialist will be part of Animation and Gameplay team and will work closely with animators, designers and engine programmers in order to provide direct support to developers in testing implementation of new game mechanics, content and features.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting developers (programmers, designers, artists) during every step of production development
• Creating and maintaining test cases and test plans and producing detailed bug reports
• Assisting with management of the bug database to reflect the current state of projects
• Coordinating the QA effort with possible outsource teams

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of PC and consoles (hardware and testing software)
• Understanding of and experience with all areas of game testing
• Knowledge of QA methodologies to ensure the highest possible quality and maximum efficiency
• Solid understanding of gameplay mechanics
• English speaking
• Ability to work full-time in Amsterdam, Netherlands

WELCOMED

• Experience working with bug-trackers (JIRA preferably)
• Experience working with Unreal Engine
• Experience in game development: Design, Tech or Scripting
