Accountant

About the Accountant position

We are looking for a reliable Accountant who will be responsible for the financial health of our company and help us to administer accounting operations in compliance with legal requirements. Person who will also perform management of our financial transactions and procedures, on a daily basis.

We expect the candidate to be familiar with audits, invoices and budget preparations. The accountant should have experience in managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Besides, it is required to have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Managing invoices (raising invoices, paying with agreed timeframes) and bank statements reconciliation
• Creating and reviewing balance sheets, profit/loss statements and monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports
• Overseeing the company's financial transactions (in line with VAT requirements)
• Preparing reports presenting financial data
• Supervising payroll activities (e.g. salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third-party payments)
• Reviewing pay and maintaining expenses in line with company policy
• Supporting the Executives on dedicated tasks
• Keeping corporate information confidential and developing safety measures such as random database backups
• Monitoring all updates to financial policies, regulation, and legislation

Requirements:

• 4+ years' experience of working on a Accountant or relevelant position
• Profound experience with financial and accounting procedures
• Good practical experience with financial software and MS Excel
• Good knowledge of financial regulations
• Strong analytical, numerical and time management skills
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
• Experience in a gaming or similar sector would be a plus
• Advanced command of Polish and English
• BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; professional qualification such as a CFA/CPA will be a bonus
