Obowiązki:

• Zdefiniujesz stylistykę projektu
• Stworzysz koncepcje i ilustracje budowli, środowiska i postaci
• Zaprojektujesz elementy interfejsu użytkownika
• Będziesz współpracować z artystami 3D

Wymagania:

• Pracowałeś/aś minimum dwa lata w branży gier, filmowej lub reklamowej
• Adobe Photoshop i Adobe Illustrator nie mają przed Tobą tajemnic
• Posiadasz umiejętność tradycyjnego rysunku, malarstwa lub rzeźby
• Jeśli znasz narzędzia modelowania 3D, będzie to mile widziane
• Płynnie mówisz w języku polskim lub angielskim

Pożądane cechy:

• Pasjonujesz się grami, kinem i sztuką, rozbierasz je na czynniki pierwsze, analizujesz i czerpiesz z nich inspirację dla własnej pracy
• Kochasz gry indie za ich nieszablonowość i różnorodną, niekonwencjonalną estetykę
• Jesteś fanem gier strategicznych
• Jesteś osobą komunikatywną
• Jesteś samodzielny/a, dobrze odnajdujesz się w pracy zdalnej

Mechanistry sp. z o.o. is looking for a passionate Concept Artist to join us in developing an exciting new project. We are a Polish indie game studio working on our first title, and are expanding our team as development picks up.

Responsibilities:

• Defining the game’s art style and visual guidelines for the rest of the team
• Creating concept art and in-game illustrations of buildings, environment and characters
• Designing user interface elements
• Collaborating with 3D artists on the final content

Requirements:

• 2+ years prior experience in the video game industry, film or television.
• You’re a whiz in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• You are talented in traditional drawing, painting or sculpting in addition to digital arts.
• Knowledge of 3D design software is a benefit.
• You’re fluent in English or Polish.

Desirable characteristics:

• You have a passion for games, movies, art, and animation, and love to deconstruct them to influence and improve your own work.
• You love indie games and are inspired by the bold creative choices in this space.
• You are a fan of strategy games
• You have strong communication skills and a friendly working manner.
• You have experience collaborating closely and productively with others.
