UX/UI Designer

In Simteract we are working on premium indie simulator games and professional simulation systems (e.g. for the automotive industry). Our Traffic AI library is used for autonomous car training purposes and our real-time strategy game, called Neverdark, uses open data to create real, post-electric cities as levels for the gameplay.

Right now we are starting a new project in partnership with an international publisher. We are creating a train simulator and we don't want to compromise - it's going to be the best train simulator for casual and mid-core players in the world. We are focusing on one or two projects at once, not pursuing dozens of small, low budget, pseudo-simulation games.

We are searching for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team in Kraków (or remotely).

Responsibilites:

• Working on user experience flow for PC and consoles,
• Creating mockups, flowcharts and clickable prototypes,
• Producing UI elements,
• Implementing UI in the gameplay,
• Working with programmers and 3D artists on delivering the best experience for players.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience on similar position (mobile projects are acceptable),
• Professional experience in game development,
• Great understanding of UX principles,
• Great Photoshop, Illustrator or Adobe XD skills for UI elements creation,
• Experience with working using game engines: UE4 (preffered) or Unity,
• Good artistic skills.

Good to have (not required):

• work experience on simulator games,
• experience with PC and consoles games,
• UE4 blueprint system experience.
