About the position

You will create the game levels and create and/or implement the gameplay situations based on the creative vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design of your levels through the full cycle of production from conception to finalization
  • Understand and implement the desired gameplays in the levels
  • Maintain and balance the readability, difficulty and accessibility of the levels
  • Understand and apply the narrative and emotional ambition for the environments you are responsible for
  • Collaborate with the Creative, Art, and Gameplay Programming teams
  • Be able to identify and resolve technical issues and bugs
  • Work with the Tool and Engine teams in order to improve the Level Design workflow; (*in case of: Seniors)
  • Share their knowledge and mentor other Level Designers; (*in case of: Seniors)

Requirements:

  • Enthusiasm and desire to work in the game development industry
  • Adept in using level editors and scripting tools
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to manage your time and work within deadlines
  • Ability to write clear and concise documentation
  • Proficiency in English
  • 5 years of experience in level design and at least 2 shipped titles; (*in case of: Seniors)
