About the position:

As the Concept Artist you will be responsible for creating environment and props concept arts for our yet to be announced title. You’ll be involved in shaping project at all stages of the production cycle. As the Concept Artist you will work closely with the Art Director and Team Leads to complete assignments and assist other departments in bringing our joint vision to life. We want your work to have a real impact on the final look and feel of the game.

Responsibilities:

• Sketching ideas that helps in solving visual design problems
• Creating high quality concept art to various levels of finish and time constraints
• Creating environments, objects, atmospheres and the general visual style
• Following Art Director's guide lines to maintain visual style of the game
• Participating in feedbacking other artists

Requirements:

• 3+ years working as a Concept Artist - at least 2 of those years spent as an inhouse concept artist
• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional environment designs
• Excellent drawing skills both in digital and traditional media
• Strong grasp of composition, color theory, value, form and shape language
• Understanding of art pipelines in the video game industry
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and a high capacity to learn new tools
• Good communication skills and focus on the teamwork
• Good organization skills with adherence to file structures and naming conventions
• Ability to accept critical review of your work with a positive attitude
• A passion for creating and playing video games
