Senior Lead Designer (Project 8)

Share your vision and develop our new project (Project 8) with us! If you are a highly experienced game designer with experience as a lead, eager to explore new terrain in game dev - we will be happy to have you on board.

Your responsibilities:

• translating the game vision into game design standards that can be used by everyone to build all of the gameplay mechanics in the game,
• ensuring the created design is coherent with the game vision,
• managing a team of several game designers, assigning roles, building competences, verifying new candidates, building development plans for team members,
• mentoring game designers directly and supervising their work if needed, providing feedback, coordinating tasks,
• constantly working on improving the design process efficiency, proactively identifying issues reducing team’s ability to do their best,
• team competence management (ie. organizing training sessions, outsourcing),
• working with producer and project lead on roadmaps and milestones.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in leading teams for at least one shipped major title,
• very good ability to understand predefined game visions and its pillars,
• broad experience in concept and gameplay design,
• knowledge of modern gameplay standards in reference to PC and console games, keeping up-to-date with current industry trends,
• good intuition for systemic and narrative solutions,
• understanding scope and assessing its complexity,
• ability to break down scope into smaller, measurable items, understanding dependencies and priorities,
• desire to improve process efficiency (ie. workflow improvements, automation).
