Quest Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement quest structure using game engine tools
• Collaborate with different departments on integrating the story with gameplay
• Develop supplemental writing for various game elements, consistent with the project vision
• Cooperate with writers to create a coherent, memorable narrative.
• Assist in the management of scripts, dialogues, and voice-overs.
• Create and update documentation required for the game’s narrative content.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of experience as a quest or level designer
• At least one shipped AAA game title
• Proficiency in game scripting with Unreal Engine Blueprints
• Understanding of story structure, different narrative tools and their application
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Highly organized, self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to process and proactively react to feedback and accept constructive criticism
• Knowledge and passion for RPG games.
