Technical Artist

Job Description

Meta Immersive Synthetics is looking for a Technical Artist to come join our teams in Stockholm or Warsaw in creating technologies for the ultimate in high fidelity flight simulation. We strive to push the boundaries of what's possible in simulation and you will work closely together with our artists, programmers and domain experts (e.g. fighter pilots) in doing so.

Responsibilities include

• Read, understand, communicate and when required, implement rendering and technical art oriented features
• Shader development, optimization and debugging in hlsl or node based systems
• Analyze and improve visual quality in all areas, especially in vehicle and environment rendering
• Create various visual effects through the use of shaders, particles, meshes and other rendering methods

Skills and Requirements

• Experience with shader development and/or procedural methods
• Not scared of experimenting
• Passion for pushing the state of the art in terms of fidelity
• A high sense of self-motivation and initiative
• Be proactive and work without direct supervision

Pluses/Nice to have

• Avid & passionate gamer
• Passion for anything aerospace related
• A love for military themed games and simulations
• Experience with procedural world and asset generation methods
• Experience with Unreal Engine
• Experience from the video game industry
• Experience working with international teams
• Additional language skills (e.g. Swedish, Polish, German)
