Animator
Sperasoft is looking for an exceptionally talented animator to be a part of our new Poland based development team.
The Animator will be responsible for character setup, key frame animation, rigging, skinning, and motion capture cleanup/editing. They will need to collaborate closely with engineering, design, and the other art disciplines to author and implement animation in our game projects.
Responsibilities:
- Characters setup: Skinning, Rigging (Maya, Max)
- Keyframe animation: in game animation, facial animation
- Work with lead artist and producer to ensure timely completion of animation assets
- Technical setup, integration, and troubleshooting of animation in a real-time game engine
- Serve as an active participant in team art discussions, critiques and reviews.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 published game as an Animator on PC, mobile or console platform
- 2+ years of experience as a professional Animator for game development
- Motion Capture clean up: overlay animation, retargeting, working with constraints.
- Experience working with cinematics.
- Basic knowledge of Mel, MaxScript, Python
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency with Unreal and Unity VFX Middleware
- Solving technical issues that arise with new tools or game performance.
