ABOUT THE POSITION:
As a Backend Programmer, you will analyze, integrate and/or create online services and make them work within the game client to a degree that allows for the gameplay team to take over

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze, integrate and/or create online services and make them work within the game client to a degree that allows for the gameplay team to take over
• Analyze existing backend solutions both integrated and not yet integrated with the engine to select the right tools for the job
• Maintain and improve existing backend infrastructure
• Support and enable the design team by exposing existing and creating new backend capabilities
• Document the work to transfer knowledge

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Professional experience in backend development for a shipped game
• Strong practical knowledge of C++, Python, scripting
• Good knowledge of backend related topics (security, scaling, microservices, databases)
• Practical knowledge of game backends (example: EOS, Steam, PSN, Gamesparks)
• Good communication and team skills
• GO, SQL, AWS knowledge will be a plus
• Experience with UE4 will be a plus
