Senior Unity Developer with strong tech-art skills

We’re Blindflug Studios, an indie game developer from Poznań (PL) and Zurich (CH). Our aim is to create fascinating games around interesting topics. In the last 6 years we’ve released games for Apple Arcade, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC & Mobile. We’re looking for an experienced Unity3D Programmer with a specialization in Technical Art.

This opening is a chance to join our team of Unity developers; we expect you to provide expertise in technical art, as well as work with the programming team on our existing and upcoming games.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take part in developing and maintaining our new and existing titles
  • Research and create technical solutions in order to achieve the artistic vision and visual fidelity goals of our projects
  • Create tools, pipelines and workflows for the Art team
  • Work closely with artists to create, maintain and optimise shaders & the rendering pipeline
  • Take part in pull requests by creating and reviewing them

Requirements & Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Unity3D and C#
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the game industry and having shipped at least two titles
  • Solid experience developing shaders and with rendering pipelines
  • Thorough knowledge of 3D mathematics, rendering algorithms, and data structures
  • Software version control experience, preferably Git (bonus for LFS)
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent communication/collaboration skills

Bonus Points for:

  • RTS game enthusiast
  • Experience with procedural generation
  • Knowledge of ECS, C# Jobs System & Unity Burst Compiler
  • Experience with low-level profiling and optimisation
  • Familiar with SCRUM practices or other agile methodologies
  • Experience with IoC, mainly DI (Zenject)

  • Salary in range of 8-12k netto / month (contract of employment)
