Flying Wild Hog Cracow is currently working on an independent project which is a multiplayer action RPG set in a sci-fi universe.

About the position:
The Level Designer will create the game levels and create and/or implement the gameplay situations based on the creative vision.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the design and gameplay of the levels through the full cycle of production from conception to finalization
• Collecting and analysing playtest data and feedback, and iterate on layouts accordingly in collaboration with environment artists
• Focusing on gameplay aspects of the map
• Maintaining and balancing the readability, difficulty and accessibility of the levels
• Understanding and applying the narrative and emotional ambition for the given environments
• Collaborating with the Creative, Art, and Gameplay Programming teams to create and maintain fun, playable levels
• Being able to identify and resolve technical issues and bugs
• Working with the Tool and Engine teams in order to improve the Level Design workflow
• Sharing their knowledge and mentoring other Level Designers

Requirements:

• A passion for making and playing games
• Good knowledge in using level editors and scripting tools (UE4 Blueprints)
• Knowledge of gameplay event scripting and entity setup
• Good communication skills
• Ability to manage their time and work within deadlines
• Ability to write clear and concise documentation
• Proficiency in English
• 5 years of experience in level design and/or at least 2 shipped titles
