Render Wrangler

Platige Image is looking for an experienced Render Wrangler who is an expert
with managing and controlling render farm. This position will be responsible for
monitoring render job priorities to accomplish our project’s goals commissioned
by the biggest companies in the world. If you’re someone who thinks a lot on how
to improve fellow artists work efficiency: this is the job for you!

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES IN A NUTSHELL
-Managing and controlling render farm jobs.
-Monitoring and assigning render job priorities.
-Managing software and plugins installations on render nodes.
-Preparing daily reports on render farm status.
-Debugging basic render jobs errors.
-Cooperating with CG Artists, Supervisors and Production departments to
keep rendering priorities and schedules.
-Reporting do Lead Render Wrangler.
-Close cooperation with technical team to maintain and service software
and hardware assets.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
-Experience in ICT.
-Experience with render farm manager.
-Good problem-solving abilities.
-Ready to work on weekends and night shifts.

ADDITIONALLY SCORED
-Experience in working on a similar position.
-Knowledge of one of 3D suites (e.g. Maya, 3dsMax,
Houdini).
