Game Tester

Frying Jelly is a new and well-funded game studio developing inimitably original games with rich worlds.
We’re working on our surreal debut game Neebota: 99 Fails, have had our videos gone viral, and have been covered in gamer mags like PC Gamer and Edge where with each interview a team member had their say and were mentioned by name. At Frying Jelly everyone gets credit, exposure and equity!

We just opened our first office in the heart of Warsaw with a 14th-story fantastic view of the city. The vibe is super casual, funky and weird, while at the same time we’re dedicated professionals and have insanely high global ambitions. We’re looking for talented and passionate people to join us in our quest to rock the world with our games and IP!

Your Role:

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated tester with passion for making great games. You will be testing our products on a daily basis, reporting bugs, spotting inconsistencies, recommending and documenting changes etc. You will become the leading knowledge resource for other team members in relation to current product features and quality. This position is office-based (Warsaw) and requires very good English communication skills.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of game design and software development principles
• Ensure we provide stable builds on a daily basis
• Support the dev team in testing new features as they are implemented
• Proficiency in MS Office and defect tracking tools like Jira
• Ability to multitask, manage own workload and adapt to changes
• Attention to detail, patience and perseverance
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Being an active team player with great written and spoken communication skills
• Fluent English (B2/C1 level)

Nice to have:

• Well-rounded basic knowledge of key aspects of Unity
• Familiarity with gaming platforms: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch
• Bug\defect tracking based experience such as JIRA
