About us:

Sundog is a game development studio led by industry veterans in cooperation with a Nobel Prize-winning author.

Our core team members played a major role in the production of games like Dying Light 2, Shadow Warrior 1 & 2, Dead Island: Riptide, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, Hard Reset, Paradise Lost, and Metamorphosis

We believe that meaningful experiences are created by combining the best stories with coherent and meaningful gameplay that's inclusive for both experienced gamers and occasional players.

Our first game, Ibru, is a FPP detective RPG made in UE5, set in a unique science fantasy world, where divine magic and futuristic technology form the basis of reality.

We’re currently looking for a Senior UE5 Programmer to join our team and help us spellbind designs and mechanics to the story.

Responsibilities:

• Playing a key role in the project as the Senior Programmer, in close cooperation with the design and art teams
• Implementing and helping design technical solutions for game systems using C++ and Blueprints
• Integrating and maintaining Articy Draft 3 and other supporting middleware
• Active mentoring and development of junior staff
• Anticipating, identifying and solving technical issues which might (and surely will) occur within the project

Qualifications:

• At least two shipped games using Unreal Engine
• 5+ years of experience in C++ and game development
• Strong experience using Visual Studio and Perforce
• Solid English communication skills
• Efficient optimization and debugging skills
• Being passionate about video games, working in game development, and being aware of current trends in gaming. No joke.

Nice to have:

• Warsaw-based or willing to relocate some time in the future
• Experience with Articy Draft 3
• Wanting to work in a smaller, experienced, and focused team to build something great together
