Vixa Games is an independent gaming developer associated with Scalac - an international IT company with its headquarters in Gdańsk, Poland.

We are a studio of different genres and we have developed games on all available platforms.

Currently we have positions open for various projects with our external international partners for their mobile projects and we are looking for passionate people to take lead role in creating a new competitive mobile game.

WHAT ARE THE MAIN CHALLENGES CONNECTED WITH THIS ROLE?

Establishing a unified creative vision and goals for a team of designers, artists and engineers and leading the design process across projects and features.
Collaborating with a team to deliver innovative, intuitive and efficient user interfaces and experiences for our players.
Working with your team to develop interaction design concepts with user stories, site maps, prototypes and wireframes that illustrate user needs, site structure, flow, layout, and informational relationships.
Driving the consistency of visual and logical architecture across all platforms via regular reviews
Working on scope estimates, project objectives, and schedules.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY:

Minimum of 5 years as a UX/UI and graphic design related experience
Engaging digital portfolio that includes experience with mobile games or/and apps.
Experience in creating animations
Ability to work well with others, and have experience leading others (previous experience in leading a team of at least 3 people")
Documentation skills for wireframes and flow diagrams
Passion and insight into latest UI design trends circulating the gaming industry.
Graphic design skills with a good eye for composition, fonts and color.

NICE TO HAVE:

Basic knowledge of Unity game engine
Understanding of game UX flow and HUD systems.
Knowledge of or experience with different gaming models, including free to play.
