Specialist/Senior Narrative Designer (Frostpunk 2)

Your responsibilities:

• Designing, writing and implementing story arcs,
• Finding interesting ways to communicate outside the usual dialogue format,
• Finding new ways to tell meaningful stories by using unusual channels,
• Taking responsibility for the game’s narrative layer: Ensuring that the story supports the main themes in the game; Creating story arcs that support main themes; Working with other designers to ensure a coherent world, both on system and narrative side; Owning the story bible and narrative vision for the project; Working closely with project leads to ensure that project changes are reflected in the story.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position,
• Very good knowledge of English (at least C1 level both in writing and speaking),
• Knowledge of game engines,
• Knowledge or interest in history, especially the early 20th century,
• Excellent writing skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with narrative systems
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine
• Knowledge of Blueprints
