VFX Artist

Within this role you will be responsible for:

  • Creating real-time special effects (ie. environment effects, flames, dust, fog, water, blood etc.);
  • Creating components such as textures, materials, meshes, liquid simulations etc.;
  • Creating special effects from a concept to the final version;
  • Deep understanding of special effects’ optimization in games;
  • Close cooperation with other 3D teams.

Feel free to apply if you have:

  • 2+ years of experience working on special effect in video games;
  • Extensive experience in using software like Houdini and Maya;
  • Good understanding of at least one game engine (preferably Unreal Engine 4);
  • Practical knowledge of current trends and game development tools;
  • Knowledge of game production pipeline;
  • Creativity and ability to approach your work from a unique point of view;
  • Ability to work in a team.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working on shipped titles;
  • Passion for horror genre (games, movies, books).
