Game Designer (Senior/Regular)

Do you love highly systemic strategy-management and RPG games and enjoy playing a broad selection of titles ranging from X-COM, Crusader Kings, Divinity: Original Sin through to Diablo and Starcraft? Joins us in creation of Project Morning Star, a tactical RPG merging party management and dynamic tactical combat, all delivered in a dark medieval low-fantasy setting!

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design fun and immersive gameplay mechanics, features and story
• Own gameplay systems from ideation to completion. This includes brainstorming, pitching ideas, executing on them through to perfecting them post-launch
• Develop and maintain design documentation, including mechanics, story and guidelines.
• Collaborate with the project cross functional team
• Hands-on engine work (e.g. scripting, utilizing systems)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ (senior) / 2+ (regular) years of professional experience and at least 1 shipped PC/console title
• Strong knowledge of game design theory
• Combining high-level systemic thinking with attention to detail
• Ability to convey ideas concisely and as part of a detailed analysis, and to clearly formalize complex concepts and ideas
• Knowledge of console and PC game market, their flagship titles and their audience
• Elaborate experience in Unreal Engine
• Former programming experience is a plus
