Founded in 2012, Anshar Studios focuses on 1st and 3rd party game development for all major gaming platforms. 

Currently, we're employing over 100 specialists in our studio in Katowice and we are very open to new talented developers willing to join us on site or remotely from Poland.

Anshar Studios is looking for a talented VFX Artist to join our team on site in Katowice, Poland or remotely.

What you will do:

• Creation of visual special effects (explosions, flames, dust, water, magic effects, decals etc.) in Unreal Engine
  
• Creating components of the effects (textures, materials, editing scripts etc.)
  
• Creating effects within memory and performance guidelines
  
• Close cooperation with programmers, designers and 3D artists
  

What you need:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
  
• High quality portfolio
  
• Very good knowledge of Unreal Engine (including Blueprints)
  
• Strong communication skills
  
• Intermediate Polish (B1/B2 level)
  
• Intermediate English (B1/B2 level)
  

Bonus points for:

• Knowledge of Substance Designer
  
• Passion for video games
  
• Strong artistic skills in some field (modeling, texturing, lightning etc.)
  
• Fluent English (C1/C2 level)
