We are looking for a Unity Porting Developer to join our team in the development of our future game titles for consoles.

Unity Porting Developer

Responsibilities

• working with source code of Unity games to prepare a version for other platforms (including PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch);
• adapting the application to the certification requirements for a given platform;
• cooperating with the testers' department to eliminate game errors;
• SDK implementation for selected platforms;
• adaptation of unique features of selected platforms (including achievements, UI and controller schemes);
• creating documentation for the project;
• cooperating with the publishing department to implement the necessary changes.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in the development for console platforms (compliance, certification, application); experience in profiling - using both Unity and dedicated tools for individual platforms;
• the ability (and the will!) to dig through someone else's, not necessarily commented, code;
• good knowledge of optimization and debugging;
• fluent English;
• knowledge of C#;
• good knowledge of DirectX, OpenGL or Vulcan;
• experience with version control systems (Git / Perforce).

Different Tales is a mostly remote work environment, but people living in Warsaw have the possibility to work hybrid or in-office if desired.
