QA Technician with Game Engine or Scripting knowledge

About the role:

We are seeking ambitious candidates for a QA Technician position to join a very technical project which requires testing on a game engine platform. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who can show that they have the potential to thrive in the field of Games QA and are committed to pursuing it as a career.

What you would do as a QA Technician on this project is:
• Utilize APIs to create automation scripts to improve the flow of testing,
• Create test maps based around newly implemented features within the Editor,
• Verify Change Lists implemented by Developers daily,
• Perform Backend tests of WEB and Client server changes,
• Conduct tests based around Multiplayer Networking,
• Communicate daily with developers through Slack.

We will invite you to the next level if you have:
• Basic knowledge of any scripting language,
• Basic experience in creating levels, objects, and materials in any game creation tool (for example: UE4, Unity),
• Basics of Test Charter creation after an exploratory testing session,
• High standard of written and spoken English,
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Office, Excel, Outlook),
• Eagerness to expand knowledge of game development tools and QA knowledge,
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Additionally, it would be good if you know:
• PC and Mobile Hardware/Software and troubleshooting,
• Test Case creation based on newly implemented features,
• Jira filter creation and TestRail.
• Creation of Lua scripts, templates, and maps to aid in tests of features within the engine.
