Shapespark is a leading WebGL rendering engine that creates tours for web browsers on desktop, mobile, and Virtual Reality devices. Our global client base includes architects, interior designers, 3D visualization professionals, interactive agencies, and virtual event providers.

We are seeking an experienced AI Research Engineer with a passion for 3D technology to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI research and a deep understanding of 3D graphics and its applications. The candidate will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing new AI techniques to enhance the capabilities of our WebGL-based 3D viewer.

Responsibilities:

• Researching and developing new AI techniques related to 3D graphics and visualization
• Implementing and testing AI algorithms in a real-time 3D viewer based on JavaScript+WebGL
• Collaborating with the development team to integrate AI techniques into the product
• Communicating research findings and progress to the team and management
• Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and 3D graphics

Requirements:

• A PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or related field
• Strong background in AI research, with a focus on 3D graphics and visualization
• Experience with one of the 3D graphics APIs: WebGL, OpenGL, Direct3D
• Proficiency in at least one of the programming languages - preferably in Python
• Git experience
• Experience with code review process
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Very good command of English
