KRN Labs creates high-fidelity surgical simulators, which enable clinicians to acquire and improve their surgical skills without risking the health and lives of patients https://youtu.be/KA5xNxfJOeg

So far, we have delivered virtual and augmented (VR/AR) reality procedures in general surgery, cardiology, endoscopy and ophthalmology. Our clients include the largest global medical corporations as well as Asian startups, universities and private clinics.

We are currently working on gamification of our laparoscopic simulator, which will be available on consumer VR hardware.

That is why we are looking for a talented Lead Technical Artist (Unity3D) to take a major role in the team and will help us to introduce our proprietary, state-of-the-art surgery simulation technology to the gaming market.

So, if you are a creative superstar who can easily model human anatomy as well as create ultra-organic multi-layered textures of tissues, fascia, fat, burns, cuts but you can also setup environments, lights, particles, visual effects, post-processing in Unity3D… you could be perfect.

We require:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the position of Technical Artist or 3D Artist
A solid portfolio
Good knowledge of Unity and major 3D package (Blender, Maya, 3ds max etc.)
Knowledge related to lighting / shaders / particles / post-processing
Knowledge of procedural textures (Substance Designer) is a plus

We expect:
Ability to work independently
Interest in medicine and/or surgery
Commitment, great passion for computer games, and big ambitions
