Narrative Designer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Narrative Designer with a background in gaming development and studies as a journalist/writer to join our team. As we develop our new game, The Last Fall, we need someone who can help us create a dynamic and immersive world inspired by Dante's masterpiece, with elements of skill-based combat, legendary loot, and epic boss fights.

As a Narrative Designer, you will be responsible for developing the game's narrative, designing quests and missions, creating compelling characters and dialogue, and ensuring that the game's world and story are consistent and immersive. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that the game is engaging and rewarding for all players, including those who enjoy games that combine elements of exploring, fighting, looting, and extracting, as well as players who enjoy typical MMOs and fast-paced PvP games.

To be considered for this position, you should have a solid understanding of gaming development, experience in writing and journalism, and a passion for storytelling. You should be able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with other members of the development team, including artists, programmers, and game designers.

Requirements:

• Experience in gaming development, with a focus on storytelling and quest design
• Studies in journalism/writing or related fields
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with game engines and development tools
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Knowledge of philosophy and religious studies (optional)
