Hi there! Applying for this role you get a chance to be a part of our Argonauts Studio Team. We are 30 senior experts (and growing!) with 10+ years of experience on average in the gaming industry. Working with a startup approach but with a great support from HQ on marketing, infrastructure, know-how and network - taking the best from both worlds :) We have full creative independence in building unique DNA and identifying our own niche. Our first product is just about to get launched!

What will be your responsibilities?

• Conceptualizing and designing the game UI, including HUD + GUI elements, boot-up sequences, loading screens and menus;
• Implementing UI assets/layouts directly into Unity 3D
• Working with UX Designer to determine the functionality and features of the UI and translate high-level gameplay ideas into visually functional UI designs;
• Assuring that game information is well conveyed through the various user interfaces;
• Working closely with the programming team to implement assets into the game and verify the quality of the graphics once implemented.
• Keep control of assets production, respecting technical constraints and optimisation guidelines;
• Introducing ideas & concepts internally to the team.

What do we require?

• 3+ years of experience in the gaming industry, specializing in the creation of interfaces and in menu design;
• Expert in Unity 3D UI tools and good practices;
• Expert in Photoshop, After Effects;
• Excellent graphic design skills (design, layout, typography);
• Ability to design and implement UI to improve the ergonomic quality of the game;
• Familiar with industry game engines and prototyping workflows;
• Fluency in English, spoken and written.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of 2D animations for UI;
• Ability to implement the assets in the engine;
• Knowledge of Unity VFX tools.
