We are Hyperstrange, a games development studio based in Warsaw, founded, as the legend has it, on the day of 2015 Solar Eclipse. Since then we have brought you POSTAL: Brain Damaged, Blood West and ELDERBORN. We are also a publisher. In our portfolio, you’ll find such titles as Frozenheim, Jupiter Hell, and our newest partner Supplice.

Delivering all that Metal, Fantasy, Action, and Hyperstrangeness ain't an easy task! That is why we are looking for someone like you to lend us a hand so together we can enter the Gamedev Valhalla!

You will be taking lead as the Community Manager

Your tasks:

🔸Engage in conversation with our audience on Steam, Discord, and other social media channels.
🔸Create engaging, creative, or humorous content for Discord (depending on the covered game).
🔸Be the face and voice of the company and take care of the company’s image in community hubs and respond to community’s questions and problems.
🔸Participate in gaming events.
🔸Gather players’ feedback about our games and summarize it for the team.

Requirements:

🔸At least 1 year of experience in a similar position in a game dev company
🔸Very good command of English, both written (perfect spelling) and spoken.
🔸Experience in or running and moderating community on Discord and Steam.
🔸Being an active participant of Discord gaming channels and other social spaces for gamers.
🔸Good communication and people skills.
🔸Passion for video games.
🔸Creativity, an open mindset, and passion to learn new things.
🔸Being self-disciplined and well-organized.

Will be awesome if:

🔸 You have an extensive knowledge of Discord bots.
🔸 You have managed communities on Reddit.
🔸 You have experience in running your own streams and you are willing to run them on behalf of Hyperstrange.
