As a Level Designer you will be working with our product, art, and engineering teams to create genuinely fun and compelling experiences for the many, many, many players who enjoy our games each day.
Responsibilities
- Design and ensure quality control of game levels
- Ensure quality control of mechanics implemented in the game
- Analyze and edit game levels, conduct A/B testing
- Develop input levels for match 3 and match 2 projects
- Create a progressive difficulty curve for match 3 and match 2 projects
- Innovate and introduce new game mechanics for match 3
- Enhance player satisfaction while maintaining strong game performance indicators
- Refine and optimize existing features and experiences based on player feedback
- Conduct systematic A/B tests to optimize game performance, virality, engagement, and monetization
- Define, measure, and analyze KPIs, making data-driven decisions for future enhancements.
Qualifications
- You’re an avid gamer who enjoys playing a wide variety of mobile, PC, console, and tabletop games
- You have a proven ability to design and adjust everything from short moment-to-moment experiences to multi-week metagame cycles
- You’re comfortable working on free-to-play games in genres such as social casino, casual, and midcore
- You’re not afraid to dive into the numbers to correctly balance complicated features and economies
- You can work patiently and productively with a wide variety of other teams, including other designers, - product managers, producers, engineers, artists, and QA
- You naturally communicate and even sell your ideas to your teammates and get them excited about what they’re building
- You’re able to take feedback and adjust accordingly, and whilst you’re able to advocate your point of view, you also have the ability to find the best compromise
- You’re comfortable making sense of game performance KPIs and metrics and how they relate to game design
