Lead Character Artist

Anshar Studios is looking for a talented Lead Character Artist to join our team on-site in Katowice or remotely from Poland, to work on an AA premium title.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with Animation and Technical Animation team to ensure department’s asset handoffs, and overall inter-departmental pipeline support.
Prototyping and executing efficient Unreal Engine character-centric workflows.
Establishing studio-wide full-cycle character creation pipeline.
Codevelop and implement character art production pipelines
Perform regular one-on-one meetings with your direct reports
Mentor your direct reports and assist them in their professional growth
Ongoing in-game/in-engine character art quality control.

What you need:

2+ years of experience as a Lead Character/3D Artist or Senior Character Artist
Experience of leading versatile character teams in GameDev industry.
Ability to work with a team of specialized artists and assemble/integrate in-to an Unreal Engine project full game-ready characters that are made of multiple assets (face, hair, cloth, body, accessories, etc.).
High-quality portfolio
Excellent communication skills.
Project planning skills.
Intermediate English (B1/B2 level)
Intermediate Polish (B1/B2 level)
