Senior 3D Generalist

NOLABEL is looking for a Senior 3D Generalist responsible for the artistic creation of CGI and VFX for Feature Films, TV series and Commercials. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create high-quality CGI
• Working on look development, establishing original looks or following a style direction
• Design and customize lighting in scenes to achieve desired advanced visual effects
• Create and refine shaders, textures, and materials
• Work with the Creative and Production team to determine the best possible technical and creative approach
• Maintaining a consistent, project-defined artistic style
• Understand and implement feedback quickly and effectively
• Set up renders and ensure image quality for the compositing department
• Working with a render farm (Deadline) and monitoring one's own renders.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role (Houdini or 3ds Max and V-Ray preferred)
• Portfolio showing excellent skills and creative approach
• Strong understanding of 3D modeling, lighting, and rendering techniques
• Knowledge of the overall VFX pipeline and understanding of the production process
• Technical skills and the ability to quickly learn new softwares and workflows
• Problem-solving approach and excellent communication skills
• Ability to take direction positively and work well within a team
• Effective time management and prioritization skills according to project schedules

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

• Experience in Unreal Engine is an advantage
• Knowledge of general compositing principles (Nuke preferred)
• Familiarity with Shotgrid
• Proficiency in the English language is preferred
