The project is related to the design and implementation of a graphics pipeline for UGC tools for a multiplayer game project. The project’s scope is limited and concerns the modularity of UGC-created maps from reusable assets. The game uses a combination of 2D and 3D techniques. The game is built using the Unity game engine and Blender as the modeling tool.
By joining the project, you will have an opportunity to solve a concrete and interesting problem related to 2D / 3D graphics and rendering. You will have the opportunity to take a close look at one of the most successful casual game projects from an international game studio.

Project scope:
- Research of different options concerning modular UGC map construction in a multiplayer game.
- Experimentation with different solutions for UGC map construction.
- Pipeline design, making sure specific steps can be executed programmatically.
- Incorporating feedback from the customer and from the ReadyCode core team.
- Interacting with in-house QA team.
- Bugfixing, detecting UGC pipeline-related issues, checking corner cases.
Requirements:
- 3 years working as a technical artist,
- Very good knowledge of the Unity Engine and URP,
- Very good knowledge of shaders.
- Very good understanding of perspective, 2D, 2.5D game techniques, especially related to shadows, lighting.
- Good command of Blender modeling software.
- Experience working on at least one released PC title using a casual graphics style.
- Ability to independently conduct graphics-related experiments within the Unity game engine projects.
- Ability to work effectively alongside programmers in an asynchronous setting.
- Good command of the English language (written & spoken).
Optional:
- Good understanding of low-level shader internals.
