Cherrypick Games is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Programmer to join our dynamic team. As the Senior Programmer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing core gameplay systems for our games.
- Creating and Building Key Game Features: Designing and implementing core gameplay systems
- Planning How the Game's Code Will Work: Working with others to make a plan for how the game's code will be organized and how different parts will work together.
- Making the Game Run Faster: Finding ways to make the game work better and faster.
- Writing Code for Specific Game Parts: Writing code to add new features to the game, following the plans made by the game designers.
- Fixing Problems in the Game: Looking at reports of things going wrong in the game, finding out why, and fixing them.
Check Your gamedev skills:
- Senior Developer Experience or 4+ Years in Game Development: Need to have worked as a senior developer or have at least four years of experience in making games for mobile, PC, or consoles.
- Able to Solve Complex Technical Problems: Should be good at dealing with difficult technical issues.
- Strong C# Skills: Must be very good at using C#.
- Bonus if Skilled in C++: It's a plus if you're good at using C++.
- Knows About Game Technologies: Should know about things like physics engines, graphics tools, and networks that games use.
- Understanding of Software Design and Organization: Should know how to design and organize code well.
- Good at Communicating and Working with Others: Should be able to talk to people and work well with them.
- Open to Learning New Things: Should be interested in learning about new technologies and trends in the game industry.
