Concept Artist

Fun Crafters is looking for a Concept Artist to help us breathe life into our characters. Based on one of the most powerful IPs in the world today, your work will be to bring iconic characters to our game, capture their essence, and delight the fans.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Concept Artist in the gaming or film industry.
• A robust portfolio showcasing your ability to create realistic character and environment designs.
• A deep understanding of color, tone, shape dynamics, and cinematic lighting, posing, and expressions.
• Proficiency in 3D software (e.g., Blender) for preliminary blockouts is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with task tracking tools like ShotGrid, Hansoft, Redmine, or similar.
• Effective communication skills and proficiency in English at an upper-intermediate level or higher.

Responsibilities:

• Craft and refine realistic characters, adapting existing designs to align with our unique project style.
• Transform cartoon-style characters into realistic renditions.
• Develop detailed choreography and movements for characters, employing line art techniques.
• Engage in daily collaboration with the Art Director to ensure artistic excellence.
• Consistently update our task tracker with your progress for seamless project management.
