Road Studio S.A. is looking for an experienced programmer for a new project. We work on driving games with open worlds and on-foot activities.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing maintainable and performant game backend solutions in C++
- Employing data-driven programming paradigm
- Exposing selected functionalities and parametrization to Blueprints and Data Assets
- Guiding team members through use of backend systems via presentation and documentation
- Communicating with game designers to crystalize feature specifications and mitigate risks
- Supporting interdisciplinary communication to establish creative pipelines, asset requirements and testing scenarios
Requirements:
- Strong Unreal Engine C++ API knowledge with emphasis on Game Framework
- Experience working with object-oriented paradigm in both C++ and Blueprints
- Ability to utilize debugging and profiling tools
- Ability to seek and propose solutions meeting design and business needs
Desirable experience with subset of the following:
- Shaders, visual effects, post-process, custom HLSL nodes
- Animation programming, Control Rig, Physics Assets
- Save system
- Experience with UMG framework
- AI programming
- Gameplay Ability System
- Gameplay Tags
Nice to have experience with:
- Working on driving games
- Console platforms
- Procedural Content Generation framework
- Audio programming, Metasounds
- Networking
Salary: 15k PLN net with the possibility to negotiate.
