Anshar Studios is looking for talented Senior/Expert Narrative Designer to join our team on site in Katowice, Poland to help us develop games using Unreal Engine.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our Creative Director on the narrative vision for our game, balancing innovation with production constraints.
- Write engaging scripts and dialogues that bring characters to life and deepen the players' connection to the game world.
- Develop narrative prototypes to test new storytelling techniques and mechanics.
- Work closely with game designers, artists, and audio teams to integrate narrative elements seamlessly into gameplay.
- Produce and maintain narrative documentation, including narrative flowcharts, character bios, and storyboards.
- Own key aspects of the narrative process or specific game features. Engage cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and integration within the broader game ecosystem.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Narrative Designer or similar role in the video game industry.
- Excellent writing skills both in English and Polish.
- Strong understanding of narrative pipelines and processes, from concept through to execution.
- Experience in designing branching story paths and player choice integration.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Any experience with Unreal Engine 5.
Pluses:
- Knowledge of broader game design principles and how narrative fits within the gameplay loop.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5, specifically in implementing narrative elements like sequences and events with blueprints.
- Passion for anime that can bring unique perspective to character and story development.
Salary:
- Wage from 11 000 zł up to 22 000 zł on a contract (B2B + VAT) or UoP (9 100 - 18 200 zł brutto) depending on skills and experience.
