Founded in 2012, Anshar Studios is looking for a talented 3D Animators to join our team in Katowice, Poland to help us develop games using Unreal Engine.

Responsibilities:
- Design, create, and polish high-quality character and creature animations using keyframe and mocap workflows.
- Integrate animations into Unreal Engine with Animation Blueprints, State Machines, and Control Rigs.
- Collaborate closely with art, animation, technical, and design teams for seamless project delivery.
- Take ownership of animation assets, proactively iterating based on feedback and project needs.
- Work on both gameplay features and narrative sequences depending on assignment.
- Focus on emotive acting, facial animation, cinematic camera work, and storytelling sequences
OR on responsive, believable gameplay animation for mechanics such as movement, combat, and interactive actions.
Requirements:
- Professional experience in 3D animation for games, film, or related fields (minimum 2+ for Regular, 4+ for Senior).
- Experience with at least one 3D animation software (Maya, Blender, Motion Builder etc.).
- Solid grounding in animation principles (timing, weight, anticipation, etc.).
- Experience working in a game engine - Unreal Engine preferred.
- Understanding of pipeline for importing/integrating animation assets.
- Basic skinning and rigging skills (e.g., adjusting skeletons, weights, or using standard rigging tools to prepare assets for animation).
- Experience with facial animation, acting, or animating emotional performances
OR experience creating responsive, readable gameplay animations (locomotion, combat, traversal, etc.)
- Intermediate English (B1/B2 level)
Pluses:
- Experience with motion capture: direction, cleanup, or retargeting data.
- Experience working with Unreal Engine (Animation Blueprint, State Machines, importing, integration).
- Familiarity with Unreal animation features (Control Rig, Metahuman, etc.).
- Practical skills in scripting or developing custom tools for animation workflows (e.g., Python, Blueprint scripting).
- Expertise in facial animation or lip sync for interactive or cinematic assets.
- Experience working with narrative teams or directors to realize emotional or story-driven sequences.
- Strong eye for visual storytelling, camera work, or cinematography.
Offered salary:
- Junior from 6 000zł up to 8 000 zł on a contract (B2B + VAT) or UoP (5 000 - 6 700 zł brutto) depending on skills and experience.
- Regular from 7 000zł up to 12 500 zł on a contract (B2B + VAT) or UoP (5 850 - 10 450 zł brutto) depending on skills and experience.
- Senior/Expert from 11 000 zł up to 23 000 zł on a contract (B2B + VAT) or UoP (9 200 - 19 250 zł brutto) depending on skills and experience.
