Hi! We are One More Level – a still-growing team of over 60 people, both seasoned veterans and talented newcomers to the game development field. We create fast and action-packed games. Our game – Ghostrunner – was well received, with over 92% positive reviews on Steam. Also we made Ghostrunner 2 which was nominated to Game Awards!

We want to create unique, bold and conceptually independent games that can challenge AAA productions in terms of audiovisual setting. We believe in team spirit, shared vision of our projects and transparency – every aspect of our work is based on these values.

We are looking for experienced professionals to join our next project – Valor Mortis.
It’s a first-person soulslike, recently revealed to the public.

We are seeking a motivated candidate to fill the role of MID/SENIOR 3D Artist - Freelance!

Responsibilities:

• Creating realistic and accurate 3D assets,
• Creating physically correct textures (knowledge of the principles behind the PBR),
• Quickly addressing problems and task iterations,
• Communication with other teams in company in order to reach best quality,
• High independence in performing given tasks,
• Working upon improving game assets with Team Leader, Art Director and concept artists to reach amazing effects.

Requirements:

• Very good knowledge of the necessary software (Blender, 3D Max, ZBrush or Maya),
• Experience using Substance package,
• Good communication and problem-solving skills,
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in GameDev,
• At least 1 game released on AA level (participation in production from beginning to end),
• Good knowledge of Unreal Engine 5,
• Very good knowledge about Game Industry,
• Knowledge of game components with particular emphasis on 3D models,
• Openness for new ideas and creative approach to different issues during production,
• Decision making ability and very good communication skills,
• Knowledge of English at a level that enables understanding and creating documentation (B2/C1).

Extra Points:

• Ability to work with Hard Surface models,
• Ability to work in our Kraków Office,
• Ability to create complex materials.

Additional info:

• This is a 7-month contract position,
• We have core hours - 10:30-15:00. We would like you to be available during them,
• This is a freelance-based collaboration, so you'll be working with your own hardware and software,
• While this is a freelance role, please note that the scope and stability of the workload are consistent with a full-time engagement.
