Displate is leveling up. As we step deeper into the world of US sports - NBA, NFL, MLB, MLS - we’re expanding our creative league. The team you're thinking of now is the Art Team. We are searching for a talented US Sports Artist (freelance) who’s ready to craft standout designs that live up to the standards of our legendary partners: Marvel, DC, Lucasfilm, Bethesda… and now major American sports franchises.

We're hungry for talents like you!
What will you do?

• Create original US sports-themed posters using licensed assets supplied by brand partners (NBA, NFL, MLB, MLS) and infuse them with your own creative spark
• Design posters from scratch - from early mood boards to final illustrations - across a wide spectrum of visual styles
• Adapt and prepare existing projects for printing, ensuring every artwork meets our high-quality print production standards
• Collaborate closely with the Manager, Team Leader, and Project Owners on larger creative initiatives and collection development.
• Help shape Displate’s new US Sports category, bringing fresh concepts, visual ideas, and fandom insights to our poster lineup.

General expectations:

• Strong understanding of print vs digital design, including the basics of production and print-ready preparation.
• Solid digital drawing & painting skills, alongside strong abilities in photo editing, compositing, and typography.
• Ability to design confidently in several styles.
• Consistency and care for high-quality visual output, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Passion for creating collections for diverse brands - mainly sport brands, but also games, movies, TV, anime, comics.
• Communicative English (B2+)-you’ll collaborate in an international environment. Deep enthusiasm for sports and knowledge of league aesthetics, sports iconography, and fan culture, with bonus points for knowledge of other fields of pop culture, like movies, music, anime etc.

Only CV with the portfolio will be considered. The portfolio should include samples of your professional work designs as well as your personal work such as fanarts, sketches, doodles, paintings.
