We’re working on The Blood of Dawnwalker - AAA story-driven dark fantasy RPG for PCs and consoles in Unreal Engine 5. And we’re looking for you to join us!

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop on-premise and hybrid IT infrastructure supporting game development pipelines and studio operations.
  • Administer Windows and Linux server environments, including configuration, updates, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage Active Directory and identity services (users, groups, access rights, Group Policies).
  • Shape and develop the studio’s infrastructure vision to support scalable, reliable, and developer-friendly production environments.
  • Actively propose improvements and new IT systems that increase reliability, security, and efficiency of studio operations.
  • Maintain virtualization platforms and virtual machine environments.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure (L1–L4), including routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and Wi-Fi.
  • Monitor systems and logs, troubleshoot incidents, and continuously improve performance and stability.
  • Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Support secure remote access and collaboration platforms.
  • Maintain server hardware and support data center operations.
  • Work closely with developers, IT, and IT Security as a technical partner for the business.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience as an IT System Administrator or in a similar infrastructure role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments (including Windows Server 2022/2025) and Active Directory in a domain-based setup.
  • Practical scripting and automation experience, especially with PowerShell.
  • Solid experience with Linux server administration (Debian/Ubuntu or similar).
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (preferably VMware and/or Hyper-V).
  • Experience with backup and recovery solutions.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining firewalls and secure remote access solutions (preferably FortiGate).
  • Familiarity with enterprise network environments based on vendors such as Dell, Cisco.
  • Experience with modern Wi-Fi solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration and identity platforms (e.g., Google Workspace or similar).
  • Ability to analyze logs and monitoring data to troubleshoot performance and stability issues.
  • Good understanding of security best practices in system and network administration.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Ability to work from our Warsaw office at least 2 days per week.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a game development studio or creative technology environment.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD or build automation tools.
  • Experience with version control systems used for large repositories and binary assets Perforce.
  • Exposure to public cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with log aggregation and monitoring platforms (e.g., ELK stack or similar log collectors).
  • Familiarity with endpoint protection and security support tools (e.g., SentinelOne, Sophos, AD audit/monitoring solutions or similar).
  • Basic security awareness in daily system administration (hardening, patching, access control, vulnerability awareness).
  • Additional scripting or automation skills (Bash, Python).
