Your Responsibilities
As a Unreal Engine Developer, your focus will be on:
- Console Porting: Adapting and optimizing games for next-gen platforms to ensure a seamless experience.
- Optimization: Profiling and improving performance (CPU/GPU) to meet strict platform-specific constraints.
- Refactoring: Adjusting game code to align with console requirements and technical standards.
- Collaboration & Ownership: Working with designers and artists to solve technical hurdles while being able to drive tasks independently.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
- UE Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine, including strong C++ skills and Blueprint expertise.
- Proven Track Record: You must have projects to show - whether commercial, indie, or personal. We value your actual skills and the quality of your code more than just years of experience.
- Execution: A "get-it-done" mindset. You are a team player, but you can also take a feature and deliver it independently from start to finish.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Strong debugging and profiling skills using industry-standard tools.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git or similar systems.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of certification processes for consoles
- Familiarity with Perforce
- Understanding of GPU architectures and rendering pipelines
