We’re looking for a Senior Technical Artist who will help shape the future of our Unity-based mobile title and push the visual quality of our game to the next level.
In this role, you’ll be the bridge between art and engineering, driving the implementation of visual features and making sure our assets, UI, and systems work seamlessly in Unity. You’ll also help evolve the tech art pipeline, improving workflows, building tools, and optimizing visuals for mobile performance.

Work mode: hybrid – 3 days per week from the Wave Office in Gdańsk or Unity Office in Kraków.
🎯 What You'll Do
Act as the go-to expert for technical art implementation, ensuring asset creation follows established guidelines and best practices.
Define and maintain visual build standards using industry tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
Work closely with artists and developers to implement new gameplay features and UI systems.
Leverage your Unity expertise (Unity UI, animations, pipelines) to enhance and expand game features.
Manage source control and development workflows (Git / Git Flow).
Drive solutions that achieve high visual fidelity while staying within mobile hardware constraints.
Identify opportunities for automation and tooling, building custom solutions that empower the tech art team.
Support Junior Technical Artists with onboarding, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
🧩 What We're Looking For
Proven experience working on mobile or social games.
Ability to translate UI/UX designs into responsive, functional implementations in Unity.
Experience with Unity animation systems.
Strong understanding of the Unity graphics pipeline and performance optimization.
Solid C# programming fundamentals, OOP, and general software development practices.
Comfortable with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to create and adjust art assets when needed.
Experience with VFX / particle systems. ✨
Knowledge of shader fundamentals.
Bonus: familiarity with 3D workflows.
