Senior Release Manager / Senior Producer

dla Rebel Wolves w Warsaw or Remote

Praca stała Zarządzanie

Rebel Wolves are, at its core, a team of experienced veterans, who want to make great, and innovative Role-Playing Games! We’re working on a brand new story-driven AAA RPG Saga for PCs and consoles in Unreal Engine 5. And we’re looking for new people to join us!

Website: https://rebel-wolves.com

About the Role:
We are looking for a Release Manager who lives at the crossroads of Production and QA – someone who understands both the chaos of game development and the discipline required to ship a great product.

If you've got a knack for keeping complex release pipelines on track, love working across teams, and feel equally at home in a milestone meeting and a bug triage session – we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the end-to-end release process, from internal milestones to platform submissions and live patches;
  • Coordinate closely with Production, QA, Engineering, and Platform Relations to align release schedules and gate criteria;
  • Define, maintain, and communicate release readiness criteria across all relevant teams;
  • Manage and track submission builds for PC and console platforms (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox), including certification processes and addressing platform holder feedback;
  • Collaborate with QA and CQA to ensure test coverage aligns with release scope, and that exit criteria are clearly defined and met;
  • Identify risks early, escalate blockers, and work proactively to keep releases on schedule;
  • Own release documentation: release notes, changelogs, build tracking, and post-mortems;
  • Continuously improve release processes and tooling in collaboration with the broader Production team;
  • Be the calm in the storm – keeping everyone aligned and informed during high-stakes release moments.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Release Manager, Senior Producer, or Senior QA role within game development;
  • Solid understanding of QA processes, certification pipelines, and platform submission requirements (console and/or PC);
  • Experience with first-party certification processes (PlayStation, Xbox);
  • Hands-on experience coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines;
  • Strong project management skills and familiarity with project tracking tools (e.g. Jira);
  • Excellent communication skills – you can translate technical blockers into clear stakeholder updates;
  • Detail-oriented with a structured approach to documentation and process ownership;
  • Comfortable operating in an iterative, agile development environment;
  • Passion for games;
  • Fluent English and Polish;
  • We're looking for someone based in Poland.

Nice to have:

  • Background in live service operations or post-launch patch management;
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine build pipelines.

We offer:

  • Cooperation based on a long-term contract;
  • Competitive salary;
  • Flexible working hours (core hours 11 am - 3 pm);
  • Modern office located in Ursynów close to the Metro Station.

Please be advised that we will contact only the shortlisted Candidates.
