Junior Level Designer

Into the Unknown Sp. z o.o. is a developer and publisher of premium board and miniature games for the global market. We have completed a number of projects, from smaller ones such as Aeon Trespass: Nymphs, Slawia, Aeon Trespass: Eschaton, to large, triple-A titles such as Aeon Trespass: Odyssey (the largest and highest-rated adventure board game), Kingdoms Forlorn: Dragons, Devils and Kings. Projects scheduled for release in the coming years include Aeon Trespass: Twelve Sins of Herakles, Enormity and other, as yet unannounced productions. Due to the company's dynamic growth and entry into the digital realm, we are looking for candidates for the position of:

JUNIOR LEVEL DESIGNER

What you would do:

• Building and owning game levels in Unity across the full production pipeline.
• Prototyping, planning, balancing and implementing levels and mechanics to fit the game's scenarios.
• Iterating on levels based on playtesting, feedback, and technical constraints.
• Planning and implementing gameplay mechanics and designing arenas.
• Writing gameplay documentation.
• Collaborating in a small team.

What we require:

• Solid knowledge of Unity.
• Scripting skills.
• Creativity, an eye for design, and a genuine passion for games.
• Attention to detail and reliability to ship things on time.
• Good knowledge of English (reading/writing technical documentation).
• Ability to manage your own work and be organized.
• We value people who actively build things, experiment, and improve through feedback and practice rather than only talking about growth.
• We are looking for someone proactive and dependable, who enjoys solving problems and taking ownership in a small team environment.

Ideally you’ll have:

• Prior experience in the industry.
• Familiarity with our games and turn-based strategy games.
• Awareness of current market trends.
• Familiarity with the game production process.
• Some projects that you are not ashamed to present.
• Familiarity with our titles.
