Character Animator

Wojan Studio is looking for Character Animators to join the animation team for our upcoming 3D animated feature film.

We are currently assembling a world-class animation team at our studio in Warsaw, Poland. This is a unique opportunity to help bring memorable characters to life on an ambitious animated production, working alongside experienced artists, producers, and industry veterans throughout the entire filmmaking process.

We're looking for candidates from Junior to Senior level, with several open positions currently available. We welcome applications from remote, hybrid, and on-site candidates.
Our studio is based in Warsaw, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality character animation shots for a 3D animated feature film.
• Animate a wide range of shots, from dialogue-driven acting to physical action and creature performance.
• Collaborate closely with the Director, Animation Supervisors, and Technical teams to achieve the creative vision.
• Participate in reviews, iterate on feedback, and maintain a high level of quality throughout production.

Requirements

• Experience in character animation for animated feature films, TV series, commercials, game cinematics, in-game cutscenes, or other high-end productions.
• Ability to work effectively in an iterative production environment as part of an animation team, collaborating closely with the Animation Supervisor and Director while meeting production deadlines.
• Experience animating characters in Maya.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Pluses

• Experience animating characters in Blender.
• Experience working within a feature animation pipeline or on high-end game cinematics productions.
• Experience contributing to pre-production workflows, including previs, visual storytelling, shot planning, and early animation development.
