
We are Far From Home, an independent AA+ studio whose goal is to create unforgettable action games with strong narrative elements and become a place for passionate gamedev’s who want to have an actual impact on the games they create and the future of the studio.
Our team consists of more than 20 open-minded individuals who prefer transparent communication, creativity in their work and direct collaboration. We believe that games should be developed first and foremost with players in mind, which is why our production model is based on close cooperation with the community. We also try to remember in our daily work that the gaming medium has become mature enough to become a tool to change the world for the better.
Our first self-published game, Forever Skies, a first-person post-apocalyptic survival game with an advanced flying base-building system, released in 2025, has sold over 500.000 copies so far, and is still being developed in post-launch support. We also work on our second title - an FPP grim folk action game with elements of survival and base building.
We are looking for a full-time Marketing Manager to help us shape and run marketing campaigns for our current and future games directly alongside the development team.
You will work closely with the Marketing Director and Community & Content Manager to support major updates, platform releases, game announcements, launch campaigns, and long-term visibility for our own games.
What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will:
- Create and execute marketing campaigns with assets, deadlines, owners, and platform requirements.
- Order, brief and update store materials such as capsules, screenshots, trailers, descriptions, patch notes, and promotional assets.
- Work with PC and console backend tools to keep store pages up to date and aligned with active campaigns.
- Track platform opportunities such as Steam events, festivals, Daily Deals, console promotions, and other visibility options.
- Help plan player-facing content such as dev blogs, behind-the-scenes posts, update spotlights, WIP materials, and feature explainers.
- Assist with press, influencer, platform, PR, and partner communication.
- Track campaign performance, including wishlists, CTRs, sales data, engagement, sentiment, and store performance.
- Represent the studio during industry events and support external partner coordination.
- Your work will help shape how players discover, understand, and return to our games before and after release.
What we’re looking for
- Experience of successfully publishing at least one video game.
- Direct experience creating, supporting and managing a game marketing campaign from announcement to launch.
- Good understanding of digital game marketing, launch cycles, storefront visibility, and platform-specific promotional opportunities.
- Experience working with Steamworks and familiarity with console backend tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Good organisation, attention to detail, and confidence in juggling multiple tasks and timelines.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to marketing in a small, agile team.
- Genuine interest in PC and console games, especially indie, survival, action, or story-driven titles.
