Join the Play of Battle Team - Junior VFX Artist (on-site only)

At Play of Battle, we’re growing our studio located in Warsaw, Drawska 29 (Ochota), and looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior VFX Artist to create visual effects for our modern Grand Strategy/RTS title. Your work will directly support visual clarity, combat readability, and the overall cinematic feel of the game, while you rapidly grow your skills in a collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Creating new and adjusting existing realtime VFX in Unity using VFX Graph
• Creating all assets needed to portrait desired effects, including simulations
• Communicating gameplay events and decisions with proper visuals
• Following optimization guidelines
• Cooperating with other Artists, Programmers and Designers to deliver effects in their best shape and form

What we’re looking for:

• Someone who can create mostly, but not only, realistic VFX
• An artist with a keen eye for detail and timing
• A person who can address and give a detailed feedback within the team

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Unity HDRP pipeline
• Experience with following software or equivalents: Embergen, Blender/Maya, Photoshop
• Some knowledge of optimization techniques within VFX, textures, shaders and rendering
• Communicative english level

Nice to have:

• Experience with shaders outside of VFX spectrum
• Familiarity with Cinemachine and Timeline
• Substance Designer or equivalent experience
